Otto Weidt‘s Workshop for the Blind, Berlin, 27.09.2014

A stone‘s throw from the "Stille Helden" memorial is the Otto Weidt workshop for the blind. It‘s as busy as the memorial next door.

Otto Weidt tried to rescue the blind.

There‘s a wardrobe at the back similar to the one in Anne Frank‘s house in Amsterdam, behind which was a hidey-hole.

As creators of the Wetzlar "Dunkelkaufhaus" (a blacked out department store) we have a connection to blind people.
